Bringing racket fitness sport to your doorstep. A homegrown racquet sport played against a numbered wall board — already contested in schools and universities, with its sights on the world stage.
Played with a racquet and a tennis ball against a wall-mounted board of numbered circles, players score by landing hits inside a target zone marked by two lines four feet apart — two rounds, seven minutes each.
Bomsy Wall Tennis was born when founder Pastor Boma Willie-Pepple started hitting a tennis ball against a wall and, drawing on tennis and squash, decided to turn it into a game — developing it further with two tennis-playing friends before it debuted at Rivers State University of Science and Technology during Postgraduate Students Sports Week.
